Seasonal greetings! This Sunday I shall be one of 60 poets (including Grace Nichols, Sarah Howe & Sasha Dugdale) raising funds for the Refugee Council. Take a look at our Just Giving page: https://www.justgiving.com/teams/brightonpoemathon. Please come and support us ( I’m reading at 6.50pm).
Meanwhile, apologies for the long blog silence. I have been in Australia, USA and South Korea this year, accompanying Chris on three major art projects (see his website http://chrisdrury.co.uk/.But we’re back now and working on a new spring programme for VERT Institute (watch this space) http://www.kaysyrad.co.uk/vert-institute.php and trying to make sense of the new (or one might say, now-illuminated) political landscape.
I am also reading my poetry at the Needlewriters, Lewes, on Thursday 12th January:
and delicious food and drink, at the Needlemakers Café, West Street, Lewes
Doors open 7 pm – readings begin 7.45 pm
